I just got my mail order ocz 700 watt psu and it came with the euro and brit ac cords..

I live in North America and was wondering if the model will be different or if I can simply use a spare cord that is laying around. Of course it fits into the back but with thos higher Euro volts are the units themselves different? Am I asking for fireworks?

Make sure if it has a switch on the back for 110/240V that it is set correctly. If there is no switch it will be fine.

Though there shouldn't be fireworks running a PSU set for 240V on a 110V line anyway I wouldn't think, it would likely just not work. The other way around, on the other hand...
 
yeah, no switch like on my last one. Does that mean that it adjusts automatically?

Thanks for helping. I don't want to deal with the whole rma process over a silly 5 dollar cord.
 
out of curiosity, which model OCZ 700W and how much was it? is it replacing that Aspire 500W in your sig? hehe
