to enable or not to enable is my question.

Thoughts opinions?

going to be a 5 Disk Raid5 consisting of 5 WD Caviar Blue 750's

Enable if you have Battery backup unit for your Raid controller, or at least a UPS if you use onboard or Raid controller.

If for some reason there was a power failure and there was Data in the cache would the whole array be toast or only the data in the cache?
