people wondering why BC didn't have 30 free days and now people wonder why WotLK doesn't. Why would it?
Only reason WoW gives 30 free days is so people that might not be sure of paying monthly for the game can give it a try first to see if it's worth it. People that buy the expansion already have a WoW subscription, they know what the game is about already and don't need the 30 free days, or, they just bought WoW with it, which means they have 30 free days anyway. There is no point or gain for blizzard whatsoever to have 30 free days on an expansion.
