No clue but... You can just delete the folder.
Wow install is cake. You can copy the folder from one PC to another without any register changes. Uninstall the same way.

WasntMe is right. The World of Warcraft installation directory is "roamable".
Hell, you can play it from a flash drive if you'd like.

A flash drive huh? I remember when I left WoW back in July of 07 the folder was like 15gigs easy. How big is a WoW folder now?

Mine is only 17gb... hmmm...
Wait. I cleaned up the old downloaded patches. Trying to save room on my 80GB SSD.
BTW... SSDs and WoW and godly! Everything loads SO much faster. My wife hates me for it (she is on older HDD).

That's because some of the install files are expanded to the host drive during the install process. Final size is smaller.

I would imagine everything total lol.
I wonder why my folder is almost 27gb even after cleaning out old patches that were just taking up space. I have a bunch of addons, but the interface folder is only about 60mb. I want to know what in the world is making mine like 7gb larger than other people's!

My beta folder is 30 gigs right now o_o
I think there may be a lot of unused MPQ files. I have almost 5 gigs worth of "wow-update-xxxxx.MPQ" files in the Data folder. I dunno if I should delete em though lol. There's also a bunch of funky MPQs in the Updates folder as well.

That's way too big. 10GB bigger than mine and I have 57MB worth of addons.

I once ran WoW off an external hard drive, that was funny.
Mine is 17.2gb fresh from the 4.0 downloader.
Not even when going from area to area? Or like in large populated cities during peak hours?
I don't do instances but my bg's load alot faster, before on my hdd I always loaded like 2 seconds before the 1 minute start warning, but with my ssd I have like 30 seconds before I get that warning. But it doesn't matter to much because you still have to wait to play.

30ish gigs huh. Things sure have changed a lot in the past 3 yrs.
And lol yes I know a flash drive can hold 15gigs blah blah blah, hell I have a 16gig SD card in my shorts right now.
I guess it was more of a wow factor in that WoW takes up an entire usb/sd storage device all on its own type thing. Of course they're other games that do as well, I think ME2 does as well.
Yes... everything loads faster. Think about it. The faster all that 24GB loads to your screen, the better the performance. Overall the SSD was the biggest gaming upgrade I've ever done (my minor video card upgrade every 12-18 months don't feel as big).
