There is a way to send an item. There are neutral auction houses, one is in booty bay in stranglethorn. Just list the item there for real cheap and then buy it with the other character. Be fast though, if you list it cheap someone else might grab it

buy something expensive, get it to your blood elf via the neutral ah, resell to get money back.

I suppose your Blood Elf could list up some complete tat on the neutral AH for 500g and your Alliance character could buy it. I think the goblins take an eye-watering percentage of the final price as their cut though...

If you're on a PvE server you can have characters in both factions. If you're on a PvP server you can't. Transfer of cash is perfectly feasible on a PvE server.

QFT, best bet is to take a complete trash Item and list it on the AH for whatever you want to transfer, as someone said the goblins will take a huge % cut but its the easiest way.

If you can get a friend on one side or the other to help out, it'll work that way of course.

If it doesn't sell, you're out the list fee, and unless it was a low lvl twink item the list fee would probably be a few g...

wow didnt know about that. I havent tried to transfer something since I first started the game. In that case, get a friend to do the transfer for you, or start a 10-trial account and do it.

ah. i never tried it between characters on the same account, all my chars are on pvp servers, and i just used friends accounts to do some moneymaking.

I think the only reason I miss wow is to play arbitrage between horde and alliance AH.

You can make a killing if you take the time to watch and learn the AH early.

fyi, the goblin AH takes roughly 20%.
