WoW problem --- Orange monochrome graphics

Every time I start up WoW, the graphics are all scewed up. The whole screen is orange/red monochrome, except for the cursor which is the correct (assuming) color. Screenshots are fine, it's just when it's displayed on my monitor.

System specs:
Athlon 64 3000+
Radeon 9800 Pro with 5.7
Directx 9.0c
1 Gig Ram
LCD Monitor
 
do you have anti-aliasing and the glowing effect enabled? i had a problem on my desktop that when i had both enabled my screen would look like the antenna on a tv got broken.
 
Try changing out each device one by one, I would start with the monitor or video card first. You might also want to try older video drivers just to be sure.
 
Bah, driver issue. Just now got it fixed.

I recommend Driver Cleaner (drivercleaner.net) to take care of such issues.
 
It may have been an ATI Smartshader, while they are cool to fool around with, utterly annoying and useless in practice.
