What do you guys think. A couple of my friends want me to start a WoW blog... think it's worth the time? What do people write in those things anyway?

The write how lame it is that people actually care about MMO blogs.

Don't get me wrong. I play WoW. I also laugh at people who blog about playing WoW.

Point taken:p On the other hand, some people just don't like blogs in general, are you saying all blogs are bad, or specifically WoW ones:p

For all of us who don't speak "Advanced geek" wtf is a blog?

a diary

well, guys will call them "journals"

:D

hah, yeah, I believe 'blog' is the short form of 'weblog.' Mainly a place where people rant, although I've seen 'news' blogs where people post stuff about specific things (like gaming news etc.)

The official Blizzard forums (and other forums) has enough bitching/whining/moaning to make any other forms of it unnecessary.

No WoW player in their right mind will take the time to write a blog about WoW. I mean, think about it. In the time it takes you to write said blog, you could have done 2 or 3 quests.

99% of blogs are lame as hell. The only ones worth going to are the porn blogs :)

Anyway, most WoW blogs are like the official forums...a bitchfest. I read This blog from time to time.

Meh. Mainly just WoW blogs...but the only useful blogs are those about people you might actually care about, whom you can't talk to regularly.

Ironic, Potter. When I wrote that post, my thoughts were on a girl who moved to New York. We should start a club.

maybe its the same girl you two should make blogs about the a##hole that stole your girl

blogs are just another fad
one more uber-hyped thing that everyone will be doing in a few years and < 1% will ever actually be read by anybody other than the author
