Greets,

I was wondering if there is an existing thread for games and graphics settings for different video cards, I did look, but didn't find anything yet.

One of the things I'm curious to know is what others are using for their WoW graphics settings on a 1900xt vid card? Also, is anyone running a Crossfire setup that plays WoW, if so what kind of settings/performance are you getting?

I'm currently using a Sapphire 1900xt and just picked up a new flatscreen monitor, the LG L204WT, which I'm loving so far. It's my first lcd, yeah I wanted a 30" too, but I'm on a budget at the moment.

Thanks!,

I ran it with everything maxed out on 1680x1050 on my flatscreen. Performance was great, even in highly populated areas. Not a single hickup.

Opty @ 2.8
2GB mem
HIS x1900XT ICEQ
running off of a defragmented 10000rpm drive helped prolly, too.

same here, except with a 7200 drive and an X2 3800+. smooth as silk. Every now and then I see some shimmering, but I believe that's due to WoW itself and not the GPU.

Does this mean with multi-sampling(I think that's what it's called..not home atm) enabled also? Is this worth maxing?

Thanks for the replies!,

Definately worth it. If i remember correctly, it's Blizzards way of saying "AA". The higher, the smoother the edges will be. Crank it up man.....you got the raw video power, so don't hold back.

i got a prescot 3ghz x800xl agp 2gigs DDR 3200 dual channel and the LG L204WT its FREAKING AWESOME 1680x1050 24bit color 6x aa SMOOTH AS SILK THE LG IS SO SHARP i turn it down to 3 while playing wow though

Ran WoW on a 3000+, 1gig DDR400, random 7200RPM HDD, Evga 6800GT at 1280x1024 4xAA/16AF (had the slider maxed, eventually forced it through the CP which seemed to do a better job of it), ran flawless, like i expected it too, and honestly i saw no differences between 16bit color/depth and 24bit, one thing is for sure, the fast load times were faster especially going into ZG.

shit i was running on a x800 Pro AGP a 754 A64 1.8ghz and 1gb of mem and running 1680x1050 Full AA and Full AF without a single prob i think you will be ok

OK I'll bite.

I just got dual 20" 10:16 that do 1680x1050, however, WoW doesn't give me that resolution option. I have my desktop currently running the res so I know the card can do it. What gives?

ETA: It's a AIW 9600XT

Maybe it can't do that resolution in 3D mode, desktop is 2D mode. (except Vista I think)
