what in the fuck is wrong?? on this same system with a 256mb 9800pro i only got 19,200 aquamarks (and had artifacting ..even out of games) well the artifacting is gone with this card and still STILL only have 27, 375 aqua marks ...(should be 70,000 easy ...)

running latest MB bios, latest nvida drivers (even did driver cleaner before hand) i fooled around with agp aventure size from 256mb to 128mb and even messed around with agp 3.0 enabling and disabling it. each tweak still produced 27,xxx aquamarks ...

aquamarks:

GFX: 4,023
CPU: 4,280

someone help wtf is wrong

haha 70,000 my butt lol my 6800 ultra can barely get 68000.. but anyways... did u disable aa and af in the ati control panel? and not leave it on application control? and also put the performance tab to high performance instead of quality... and u should hit around 40,000.. not 70,000 LOL

what in the hell are u smoking

people with the same proc on a 128mb 9800pro stock got 4700

should i keep agp at 3.0 and adventure size 256mb??

turn off your cool & quiet in the bios,
and watch your aquamarks go right up. when i frsit built my pc my cool & quite was on and my score was really low, so i disabled it and it went up
i have amd 3200 +
1 gig of ram
gt 6800 video stock.
i score 60.000

hey open up the control nvidia control panel and look at the main info screen the one the first pops up and in the scetions marked " adapter information" make the sure the bus AGP8x 20 bucks says yours reads "PCI" if its in PCI mode then reload the AGP driver for your mobo then reload the Nvidia drivers I got aroung 65k with 6800 GT

Rofl, that's horrible. You should be around 65K or so. I'd just format and all would probably be fine. But I'm crazy, so don't listen to me.

oh the and the spectrum fancard doesn't do a damn thing I tokk that noisy little POS out of my box

for the last time u guys. a 9800pro cannot get 65k in aquamark 3... hehe around 40-50k is about right :)

Please read his post next time. He said previously on the same rig he got 20K. Look at his sig. He's using a 6800GT and is getting 27K. Read first, then post.

There could be so many things going on, I would just format, as I said before. Most people don't like to, but it's a personal favourite troublshooting step ;)

formating wont help if i cant fix it now

It sounds like a driver issue. Formatting and installing your chipset drivers etc etc would most likely solve the issue. It really, really doesn't sound hardware related.
