Would you recommend NEC refurbished?

I'm considering pulling the trigger on a refurbished NEC, but I really ignores the possible consequences of buying refurbished from NEC. Does anybody already own a refurbished monitor, and can give some impressions?

It's either that or a HP 2475w, but I'm really really really really really scared of their customer service for what I've been able to read out there.
 
I have purchased several displays from NEC refurbished. The packaging leaves something to be desires but they back everything and the products are FANTASTIC and like new. They even cross shipped me a refurb after it was damaged by UPS during shipping they rock

I'd make sure you can get an exchange for dead pixels. I pretty much only buy dell monitors now because the premium panels are guaranteed to be dead pixel free or they will replace it.
 
They replaced a refurb 20wmgx2 for me about a month ago. NEC is solid.
