Would You Accept this CPU?

Snagged two cheap L5639 on ebay. One came looking like this. I feel this is damaged. Thoughts? Grey marks are indents/scratches on the contact pads.

Try using isopropyl alcohol (91%+) and see if that removes them. Otherwise contact the seller and get a refund ASAP.

Old thermal paste you can clean off, dents or scratches don't accept and contact buyer. As soon as you put it in a socket the buyer can claim you did it seating the cpu.

I would probably contact the seller first, then try it and see if it works, (which is what the seller will probably tell you to do anyway).

My L5639 looked nearly as bad, but its working so im just going to keep it. I really didnt want to deal with returns with hong kong...

be sure to peel off the sticker they stuck on the bottom. Someone reported damage that was intentionally hidden by the sticker.
