Pardon me while I display why that title is next to my username k :D

I have a pair of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers, there these if you wanted to take a peak. On one of the sattelites there's a connection for headphones and an mp3 player, it's the mp3 player one I have a question about which Klipsch calls "MP3 two-channel soundcard miniplug", it's for input. So this is the deal, I have a Westy 37" 1080P monitor that has L/R audio out, the connection type is RCA I "think", I'm not that up on this stuff. There the red and white coax type where if you have video as well the third one is yellow. Can I tie the audio out from the Westy to the miniplug on the sattelite speaker with a cable something like this so that whatever sound I have on the LCD will then come across the Klipsch ? If I can, would there be any reason why it wouldn't sound pretty decent as the Klipsch ProMedia speakers sound awesome.

Sure, you can do that. Your right it probably will sound good. There is no reason why it shouldn't work and no chance you will hurt anything as long as everything is line level.

Those cables are used alot with soundcards. Usually to connect up consumer audio gear.
The audio out on your TV will be line level. You could also connect the audio out from the TV to the soundcards line in. then you could add things like EQ and/or reverb etc..that is how I would do it. Delay wont be a issue, or it shouldn't be anyway.

Hmm, there's a thought. Now that I know I can hook an audio signal into that speaker jack, I'm going to have to take a look at which would be the best way to accomplish what I'm trying to do in that room. I really like the idea of having the TV audio go thru the soundcard then the speakers, because then I would have more control of it rather than just volume up and down type stuff. You got me thinking now bud :)
