I currently have 2 hard drives: a 7200 WD 80GB drive and a Raptor 10k 74GB. Both are maxed out, so I need more storage. The WD is IDE and the Raptor is SATA. Would it slow me down to get another Raptor?

I cannot see how more drives would slow down the access to a completely seperate drive. I have 6 drives in 1 computer, 5 in another computer, and 2 in my gaming machine. I notice no slow downs in any of these machines.
