I got this PSU that came with my case, it's rated at 500w max but I have a feeling it's very crappy. My system isn't finished yet, but I can get a real good deal on an Enermax 470w PSU, and i'm wondering if it's going to be beneficial to upgrade or not. (Keep in mind i'm just a punk with hardly any money
) Anyways here's the specs:
Made by Okia
OKIA-500ATX
Voltage=115/230v
Current=9A/5A
Freq.=60/50Hz
+3.3=22A
+5 =36A
+12=18A
-12=0.5A
-5=0.5A
+5SB=2.0A
+5V & +3.3V = 230w
+5V, +12V & + +3.3V = 422w
On to my system specs.
Intel P4 3.2E Prescott OC'd @3.7Ghz
ASUS P4P800E mobo
2 X CMX512-3700 Corsair 512mb of PC3700
Maxtor SATA 160GB HDD
Sony DVD burner
BFG 5900xt OC gpu
Soundblaster Audigy ZS2
And about 6 different fans 1 being the panaflo m1a and the others your typical 80mm UV/LED case fans.
Would I be able to get away with using this PSU? If not, will the Enermax 470w PSU be sufficient then? Any other suggestions?
