Would this "older" PS be OK?

My nephew is building a PC for the first time and I have a spare Kingwin case and Antec power supply I'd like to give him to help with the cost. The power supply is an Antec TruePower 480 and it is listed as 22A on the single +12V rail. He will be running the following:

Athlon 3200+
Non-SLI PCI Express based Mobo
Seagate 7200.9 160GB HD
DVD RW
Auzentech 7.1 Sound Card
7600GT
2x512MB RAM
3x80mm fans

There are no plans to overclock, but as he learns more about PCs who knows. Yeah, I know power supplies aren't terribly expensive; I just hate seeing things go to waste, and if this will work, why not use it?

After seeing some posts that I missed before asking this question, it looks like it will do OK. Confirmation would be nice though.

Based on the specs you posted, it should put out more than enough wattage. As long as it's in good shape and will be reliable, no worries.

Yeah, he'll probably be okay, but more than likely he'll have to upgrade the PSU if he goes to a faster CPU and/or GPU in the future. However, after the luck I just had with my old True380 (crapping out with only an A64 3000+, 2 SATA HDD's, and a 9800 Pro), I have a hard time recommending anyone use Antec for a gaming PC.

I ran a heavily-used truepower 430 on a similar, but heavier-loaded, system for about 10 months or so without any problems.
