would this do? (8800gtx conroe system)?

Well it LOOKS fancy and all...

I second DavidH's motion about getting the Corsair 620HX instead, I have it and it's the best PSU I have ever had the pleasure of owning.

but this bad boy has enough 6pins for 2x 8800gtx's. and it looks the bees knee's.

Style (bling) over substance (rock solid power), eh?

Also, if you value your warranty, you're better covered by Corsair again, 5 yr vs the Hiper 3 yr coverage.

[edit]
And wtf, the price?! I checked only one place admittedly (xoxide), but $160 for that thing? I'd pass, save ~$30 on the Corsair 620w. Also, I know nothign of your setup, but if someone has a case with the mobo's top edge close to the PSU, I imagine it severly limits your HSF choices.

Hiper type R 730 is an Andyson built unit, so you know it's good. like, crazy good.

I would get one if I didn't already have this; the only problem I see is that it's the cow udder style, so depending on what cpu cooler you're using, the power plugs could get in the way.

its ok. i got water cooling and my psu mounts side ways with a big gap. so they will point towards the windows then drupe down. what i dont know/dont know how to work out is if its got enough grunt on the rails for an 8800gtx or 2?

672w combined = 56a

It looks quite promising.
