Would it be possible?

I was just wondering if it's possible, because I thought it might be a good idea, maybe save some money in the process as well...

The main thing would be figuring out the parts, and that's what I'm posting this for...

I know I'll need burners and a HDD, but other then that, I have no clue as to what motherboard, connectors, ect, ect would be needed...

Can anybody help me out?

There are dedicated duplicator controllers that you plug in all your drives to so that you don't have to have a motherboard or an operating system or anything. They're only a couple hundred dollars I think. SarverSystems or someone built a kickass one a few weeks ago, so hopefully he'll see this thread(topic wasn't very descriptive, so I hope his curiosity gets him like it got me).
edit: something like this

OH MY GOSH!

That's perfect. So all I'd need to get would be one of those and the drives and a HDD and I'd be set? That's be awesome!

Yea, I know it's not the best title in the world, but who knows!

Yeah, all you need is one of those controllers, your drives, and of course case, power supply, and cables.

Yea, they actually had a case on their site as well, with PSU...lol, I might as well get the case there as well if I ever get enough money to build it...Maybe think of some mods for it, like a pain job or something, lol...

Well, just did a rough total....

It came out to around $764.50 on eBay...haven't checked anywhere else yet...includes the following...

7 Pioneer DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW
1 Lite-on DVD-ROM Drive
1 ACARD DVD 1:7 Duplication Card
1 DVD 1:7 Tower with PSUs

I think I took at least $800 off the usual rice for a DVD duplicator...

Now if I only had the jack for it...This should end up on my site soon enough...
