Would I have a CPU bottleneck?

I was reading this one review and it said that if your CPU was between 2.4 and 2.8 Ghz then a 6800GT would fit my needs, but if I had a 2.0 to 2.4 the card to get would be the 6800 NU

I'm planning a new PC that would be using an Athlon 64 3200+ and was wondering if I would have a CUP bottleneck with either the 6800 GT or the X800 Pro.

Also...Which is the card to get right now? I can't decide whether the X800 Pro or the 6800 GT is the better card. I don't want to start a war here, I just want opinions...

dunno people say 6800 gt and I dont thik you would have a bottle neck with the a64 3200+ becuase of its higher fsb but it does lack in operating frequency and with its higher fsb its better for games, thats why so I dont really know but there allways is oc.

i havnt done as massive amount of reading but i have done some...and i was trying to work out the same thing...

to me it seems that the x800 series of cards are just like the 9800's but faster...i dont think there are many new features...i get the impression the 9800 can do everything the x800 can....but slower....

the 6800 series has some new features, SM3.0 etc...if u are after "here and now" performance then either the x800 or the 6800 will do...

if you want a bit of longevity and dont plan on upgrading for a good while to come then perhaps the 6800 is the better choice....

thats just my 2cents and i might be way off....
