Would buying from here be ok?

Ebay is always a risk....but having said that I've been registered since 99 and haven't been scammed yet. That guy has pretty good feedback so it looks ok to me....I wonder how he can sell them for less than Dell but he probably gets them in quantity at wholesale prices...

Anyone else? I'm really wanting this monitor.

I know you don't want to hear from me again but seems nobody else has an opinion. If it were me thinking about this purchase I would consider several things...first of all like I said the seller has been registered for years with good feedback, since the Dell 27" was just released the chance of getting a used/refurb sold as new is virtually nil....also he accepts PayPal which you can file a claim and get your money back up to $2000 if he doesn't ship. personally if I were in the market for this monitor I would go ahead and do it since you can save about $300 versus going through Dell home/SB.

I've bought off of ebay but not this much $ before. Thanks for the feedback everyone (esp. joemama ;) )

lol...no problem. I also noticed where the seller charges tax to California residents so he has a registered business. But if you're not in Cali looks like you can get away with not paying that also!

Wonder why the seller blanked out the dell logo on the boxes in the pic? Anyway you should be able to transfer the warranty so I wouldn't be too worried about it. If you want to play it safe you can always pay with a credit card through paypal.
