Would a new case/better CPU HSF help here?

Hi guys, I just put a Q6600 system together from parts I got from a forum member and I was wondering about the temperatures I'm getting. I put the system into an old (K7-era) AOpen ATX case I had lying around which has got space for 2 x 80 mm exhaust.

Specs:
- Q6600 G0 stepping @ 3.1 GHz
- ThermalRight (I think) HSF with two full heatpipes and 92 mm fan
- Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R mainboard
- 4 GB (2*2 GB) Corsair RAM
- nVidia 9800GX2 GPU

Currently the GPU runs at load (F@H) at about 85C on each core. The CPU idles at around 45C and peaks at around 70C during folding. I have two 80 mm exhaust fans installed, one controlled by the mainboard's BIOS, one using a molex connector. During load the CPU and system fans run at 100%. The 9800GX2 partially exhausts outside and inside the case. There is no side fan option with this case.

What kind of gains could I see with another CPU HSF? What about a case with 120 mm (exhaust) fans? Is there anything (cheap) I could change about the current setup to make it run more cool?

I don't have much of a budget to work with (about 50 Euro), so keep that in mind when recommending fancy coolers and cases :)

Have you tried remounting the heatsink you have? Sounds like you have an XP90 heatsink. How are temps with the case completely open? Try taking a small room fan and blowing it in to the case and see if that makes a difference. Two 80mm fans isn't going to cut it with an OC'd Q6600 and a 9800GX2 in there churning out some heat.

I'd exhaust all other options before buying a new cooler or case. Might just need some new case fans
 
Haven't tried remounting the current HSF yet, but it seemed to be quite well installed. There aren't many ways in which one can install this HSF wrongly from what I can tell :)

With just the side off temperatures go up a few degrees on the CPU at least. I guess I can try pointing a small fan at it.
