Would 20" + 24" + 20" work for Eyefinity ?

Just bought the 5870 last week, looking to go triple screen gaming to mainly play WoW. I do have the Apple 30" Display, but that is not meant for triple screen gaming for me, unless adding 2 more 30" monitors, no thanks way out of my price range.

I do have a 24" Samsung of 1920x1200res on my 2nd computer, how would adding two Dell 2007FP's of 1600x1200res match up on either side of the Samsung 24" ?

Would be 2 of these; http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-4687
and 1 similar to this http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-6272

Would those three combined line up well across Eyefinity ? Would dot pitch or pixel count look uniform between the 24" and 20" and work fine in a triple screen setup ? Thank you

I believe currently all monitors must run the same resolution.

"We also asked AMD if the EyeFinity tech could cope with monitors with different resolutions and sizes, and received an affirmative – which means that you could begin to add monitors as and when you like, including re-using old ones."'

Edit: after further searching, I do believe they have to be all the same resolution. So it looks like you are out of luck.

It would not only need to be the same resolution, but the same orientation......ie all landscape or all portrait.

In viewing the HardOCP video, some games don't support portrait.

I also was thinking a 24" in the center in landscape and a 22 inch on either side in portrait would be cool, but no luck I guess.:D
