Hey guys is it worth upgrading from a P42.4C to 3.4C? I tried to o/c 2.4 but highest i got was 2.8 and not stable .

1ghz is a pretty big speed difference and i'm sure you'll notice it. i'd say it's worth it, especially if you sell your 2.4c and use that money towards the new one

but for your oc'ing problems...you sure it wasn't other problems besides the chip - like whatever ram you're using? - just curious

yea i'm sure it's probaly the memory i have Crucial pc3200 memory and timings are 3-4-4-8. I'm thinking of buying the 3.4C and buy some good pc3500memory.Which pc3500 memory ya think is best to buy fromcorsair, mushkin or kingston?Thnx for any help and for sure i'm going to buy Nv40 or R420 whichever one is best from reviews.
