Worth upgrading?

I was thinking of upgrading my PC in a few months when Vista and DX10 comes, out and my current specs now are:
Asus socket 939 AN8-E mobo
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
ATI X1800XT 512MB
Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic
120GB 7200rpm hdd
200GB 7200rpm hdd
2GB of DDR ram

I doubt I'll upgrade everything, but I was wondering if it would be worth it to go a SLI set-up of GeForce series 8 cards, a faster AMD processor, a newer mobo and a 10000rpm hdd, any thoughts?

IMO, a faster hard drive will always transfer to another machine in the future, and video cards can transfer too.....faster processor on that board really isnt going to happen unless you go with dual core which isnt faster just more power....a ram upgrade to 2 gig might be as far as you want to go with out being over spendy

It's rather hard to predict part advances. Don't worry about upgrading for Vista until Vista is near coming out, I'd say.
