I want to upgrade the rig in my sig to the following:


AMD Athlon64 3400+
Gigabyte GA-K8NS PRO nForce3
1GB OCZ EB 3200


:D Worth the upgrade if I sell my stuff?
 
well... why do you want to upgrade? that's really the most important thing. if you're looking for an answer like how much of a performance upgrade you'll see in games, the answer is not a whole lot. but if you want to run XP-64 bit, then yeah, of course the upgrade is worth it....
 
for now stick with what you have since theres not many 64bits apps out and save your pennies for a really good 64bit when the 64 bit windows comes out,

answer= no wait some, your rig is more than fine for anything that i can imagine other than 3d animation*u would need atleast 2 gigs of ram.
 
Keep what you got there but if you really want to upgrade something get a better HD with SATA from Seagate, those are nice drives.
