I got my mom a basic dell computer over fathers day. Its out in the garage. It has dell's 1705.N wireless adapter single band. I get 2-3 bars signal from my Netgear R7000 Dual Band AC router. Intel's 7260 Dual Band AC wireless adapter card is $25. Would getting that help with the signal? Stuff like Netflix plays OK, but it does buffer from time to time. Here is the adapter I was thinking about getting..

Ha LOL he did :) Its the Intel 7260 AC dual band adapter. I guess in theory it should be a lot better than the Dell 1705 which is only single band .N
