Worth it for a 3rd fan in my Antec 900?

I'm thinking of buying a spare drive cage with the fan and taking my DVD drive out so I can have 3 intake fans. I currently run all my fans on high, so would getting an additional fan then putting them all on medium be comparable to my current cooling?

I've suggested in an other thread that using a side intake fan in the 900 (instead of rear exhaust) produces a nice airflow over the core components, reducing temps significantly (particularly in my setup with stock HSF), and gives the 200mm exhaust something to do.

To answer the op, yes, it will work fine.
I doubt you will end up with higher air pressure inside the case as you have the PSU fan, rear fan and top extremely large fan drawing air out so it will be more in balance :)

It would be beneficial to add another fan, but I recommend that you see if you can find a way to rig up the fan without using the drive cage, since IMO it isn't worth the cost just to add another fan. You'd be surprised at what can be accomplished with a few zip ties and some imagination.
