Worth getting a jumper for this setup?

I am fixing someones computer and they got a new motherboard with an Athlon FX 4200+ and the motherboard uses a 24pin setup for power. The PSU is a 20+4 and I was wondering if the system would run alright with just the 20pin, or if I should find a way to use all pins availalble. They don't plan on doing a lot of heavy loads on this computer, but I want to take sure that the system stays stable.
