Worrying temps in Speedfan.

Just overclocked my cpu (from 2400 to 2520mhz) and since my mobo isnt supported by motherboard monitor, i installed Speedfan to check my temps. Speedfan doesnt display what temp is for what device unless you have a config, however my mobo isnt supported here either, but through running a few tests i worked out that the first temp was the cpu.

Now its not the cpu temp that is the worry since that is 27c idle and 30-32c under load (2 instances of superpi and zoomplayer running). No worries there.

But its the one below it running at 85-88c thats is very worrying. I have no idea what it is. But whatever it is, it seems to be running WAY hot.

Another temp also reads Sub-Zero. Strange. I'm guessing Speedfan is reading the temps wrong.

here are the temps as they stand as of now

CPU: 28c
Temp2: 86c <--------- scary one
Temp3: -98c <--------- huh? whats that all about?
Temp: 2c
HD0: 32c
HD1: 30c
HD2: 30c
Temp1: 40c

I thought that maybe the temp was of my X1900XTX but the ATI control panel shows 53c idle.
Does anyone know what device the hot temp could be? or is speedfan unreliable? oh and are there any other progs i could use to check my temps?

Has to be faulty sensor. 86C whatever it was, it would be fried.

Yeah, SpeedFan seems to have a lot of compatibility issues. The temps on my MSI K8T M2-FAR are supposedly 290C and -12C :p

Don't worry about what it says, if your pc was hitting 89C it would shutoff [AMD systems have a safeguard at 75C, I think].
