Worlds oldest overclocker

Wow, a 34% overclock.

He gets to go on a huge tour because he overclocks a CPU?

haha and to think that my Grandpa would do such an awesome thing, i love him :)

All my grandpa ever did was kill a bunch of Italians and Germans and get wounded 3 times. He shoulda spent his time OCing instead.

^^^^ go to your Grandpa and salute him, when he ask "what was that for?" just tell him that is a thx you for what he did from a [H] member. Thx :)

Yea.. My grandpa didn't even know what a computer was.

BUT... He did kill germans, had his neck sliced by grenade shrapnel and hitting one of the arteries and surviving, and he lost his left thumb from a bullet. Managed to hold out from 39-45 and being in active service every year of the war. One of the most highly decorated, honored, and recognized men in Poland, he even managed to organize an escape from Aushwitz and managed to free about 15 people on his own, including himself. He was meant to die atleast 5 times in that war, yet he managed not to and decided to live another 56 years.

But, then again he wasn't the oldest overclocker so who cares about him.. right?

Unfortunately Grandpa died last winter at 86 years of age. He fought in North Africa and Italy and was sidelined to convoy protection in Greece after he took shrapnel in the hip. Active duty from first to last day of the war. Married for 63 years when he died.

Maxx thats amazing. Scary but amazing. Is there anywhere to read about him?

I know you're not comparing the benefits veterans and their families get to a single prize for an old OC'er.

You said it yourself, your grandpa was highly decorated and honoured and you're upset that an old overclocker is getting publicity? Retarded.
