I know this is really late in the game, but I wanted everyone here to know about a distributed computing world record attempt that will be held tommorrow (Jan 30th, 2004).

The site www.chessbrain.net is having a chess match which pits a GM vs the distributed computing program they have written. Should be pretty interesting and it will only take about 1 day of your time away from Folding and Searching for Extra Terrestrial Life. Thanks for your time.
