This is a contracted job fora member over on overclock.net. This has been ongoing for the last few weeks working out details, designs, etc.

This mod is going to consist of the following:
  • Laser etch a custom designed dragon on the left side panel.

  • remove the 5.25 bays and create a custom-size panel to wrap around where the 5.25 bays once were.

  • Create a cutout of a dragon on the front section where the new front plate will be. This will be backed with frosted acrylic and backlit. The circles represent cutouts for Vandal-Resistant switches.

  • Create a cover for the 3 180mm fans on the bottom of the case with slits for fan filters
  • Create a custom heatsink cover with this etched into it.

  • Custom sleeve Corsair AX 750 to customer spec with FTW Sleeve. This will be the first PSU we have custom-sleeved with our own product and we are very excited to see the end result.

The case arrived at FTW PC on 6/30/2011. It was unboxed and photographed to make sure it was not damaged in transit.

Those screws on the side panel are going to be replaced with some FTW PC Black Oxide Socket Cap Screws to complete the look.

No words neccesary. Just got this cell phone pic from our friends over at Frozen-Q PC Mods. He was nice enough to put it on his laser for us and give us this beautiful design. Great work!

More progress to come later on, as well as better pics.

I just started to mod my case also. Already did the grills and window. The panels to cover up the bays will come later in the year.

Would like to see how this turns out.

Mod Section?

We are still moving forward with it, no worries. Work has been extremely busy and we broke an end mill and couldn't find a replacement. Then our press brake took a dump so we had to order one of those too. That should be here tomorrow or Monday and the case mod can resume. Until then, there's always the power supply to mod with some sweet FTW PC Sleeving.
