I am having a problem with word Xp/2002 and thought that somone might have a fix.
When using Word in Office XP/2002
When you click file, open, then select multiple documents, then if right click and select open or print.
It gives you a dialog box that states "The command you selected is not available from this shortcut menu".
Now if you hit ok to the dialog box, and hit cancel on open window it also locks up any word documents that you have open, you can still see word, but if you click on exit or close, it says
" You can not close Micrsoft Word because a dialog box is open
switch to Microsoft Word first and close the dialog"
meaning you have to end the task. Or reboot the computer to fix the problem.
This is a major pain, does anyone know a fix? I am running the newest patches and service packs.
