k, i know someone whos got a computer that everytime you load up word, it already has text in it.. now im stupid when it comes to word, how do you get this off? thanks..

What kind of text? It may be loading a default template, search for and delete any files named "normal.dot". Word will recreate a default template the next time it's started.
