Just got my 22" westinghouse today.
It's perfect all i have to say is WOW.
I went from a 20" CRT and.. hehe i have
to be careful not to drool on the screen.

Since someone was curious about the Vista Desktop:



Yes my girl used to leave me sticky notes until vista.. everyday now she just uses my desktop lol

There is also a widget / add on that i can see my xbox live gamercard on my desktop as well
 
Well, you can just say that and expect to get away with it without some pics! :D
 
I am going to clean my room first lol! Yes i'll follow-up with pics tonight and then more pics later in the week because my women just bought me a new razer mouse and chassis before she went to work today.
 
awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pics pics and more pics lol. how are the black levels on it? what about backlight bleeding? have any consoles, 360, ps3 to hook up to it?

If you have more than one woman buying you computer stuff then you might as well kill yourself now because it will never be better than this.:D

edit- I expected this thread to be about something on Woot.com:( They've had nothing but crap lately..
 
WOOT.com has disappointed me badly.

This is my intake from a standard user level.

The black / bleed levels are minimal and with proper adjusting can be nullified.
It's to my experience that panels like this and TV panels are meant to be in light
so you wil notice more bleedout in the dark of course.

0 stuck pixels. Auto adjust works nicely. Hooked up the old xbox to it
and left my 360 on the 37" tv.

Works perfectly Now my gf can play the old xbox games she wanted to finish on this
and watch tv w/ the tv tuner.

As far as controls they are perfect. Out of the way and behind the right side where you can easily push them once you get used to it.
 
Well said TeamStrykerCore, I feel the same way. I have my PS2 hooked up via component cables and it looks great. Here are a few crappy pictures, I have a decent camera (A630) yet it cannot take good pictures of screens. Also, for some reason it made it look like the LCD bends... somewhat of a fisheye look.





*Note - that red dot in the pictures is from the camera... guessing it's from the batteries since they are almost dead as I've never seen it before.

Anyone have any backgrounds or links
to direct me with new ways I can play with my new toy.

Since i just got a new vid card and monitor im off to play HL2 and CS: Source haha

Pics are on the way im too lazy to find the USB cable for my dig camera because
im in geekdom Paradise

Those are nice. Now im getting all weird ideas in my head like
putting the winamp visualization screen on my 37" tv which i did
and then browsing and gaming on my 22".
 
its amazing how some people have never heard about wallpaper heaven....interfacelift.

is the first post pic with windowblinds and arrow or actually vista
 
ok kool. im getting ultimate in a couple days here and im only 14 lol. my dad gets it for free so. yea my skin looks a lot like vista then is thats what it looks like. nice friggin monitor dude

o yea. how is cs:s. without correct drivers....or do they have drivers for vista now...i duno.
 
CS:S seems to work alright

I cant be a good judge yet. I only have 512mb of ram.
I have another stick that will be here on monday so i can
tell you better then.
 
ill be in school monday lol. ill try to get on during 3d class.....if i can get away with it while still being in poser lol
