Woot Off

A woot off is where they sell many items they have a low stock of, one-at-a-time; instead of one item in a day.
 
AHh so once they sell out or for a certain time, then it changes, but many times a day instead of once a day?

Just watch the site for an hour or so, as you can see they have some MP3 player now.
 
That status bar on the bottom is..... well..... a status bar? Just keep woot.com open in another browser or tab, and keep refreshing every 5mins or so.
The worst part will be the woot-off killer, I thought this thing (the mp3 player) would be it, but no, its actually selling. Wait until they put some really stupid thing up and that will be the woot-off killer.

The best woot-off I have seen was the day they did the HP laptops woot-off. They had a different HP Laptop (many were the same model, with different configurations). Damn I wish I had money to spend that day.
 
And the woot-off killer is.... a Dick Tracy WristNet Watch by Fossil for $75! Just popped up. Bah!

That PD-1000 MP3 player is pretty nice. I bought one 3 weeks ago when it was $99.99 +$5 shipping at woot. I'm not surprised it sold out in 30-something minutes.

It's small, the battery lasts a long time (10-12 hours), it charges very quickly (1/2 hour rapid charge through the AC adapter... longer through the USB port), the screen is bright and the sound quality is good. The only negative is that it doesn't come with any software at all (Win98SE USB storage drive can be downloaded from the manufacturer). The interface is OK, especially for grouping by ID3 data, but some options could use a back button.

I love woot, I've been watching them off and on since they started up, but I need to stop. I'm so weak...

Once the Woot-Off ends, yes. They normally offer one product every 24 hours. This watch is probably the Woot-Off killer, so until they have another Woot-Off we're back to one item per day.

They're having Woot-Off's more often now though, so you have to just keep an eye out for them.
 
LMAO some of the people in the forums ar suggescting that everyone pitch in 3 bucks to get the watches out of the way lol.

Count me in as one of those sitting on woot. It's pretty funny watching the good stuff fly by and the crap just sit there for an hour. That Fingerprint security scanner sure as hell went fast. By the time I looked it up and read a couple reviews it was gone.
 
I wonder how many people will spend 15 bucks just to see the next item...

if you get in on the "bags o craps", check the weight of your shipped order. if it's over a couple of lbs, you got extras like a HTS or DVD player, etc... woot is one of the neatest sites I've seen in a while. Since I work late every night I check it on a daily (1am) basis. Wish I knew there was a woot-off today. I'd have been refreshing that site all day.

They will sell out, but it's going to take it's sweet ass time. That's the 3rd time I've seen the Nachus 128/256 MB pendant on there.
