Yup, when the orange bar is gone, its sold out and another item is gonna be up shortly.

Bar empties right to left.

Come on with a cheap big tv, finally got the ok from the wife it is whithin the "budget"!!!!

Thanks for the explanation! I told some friends last night about the 8mp camera that was available for $239, and they replied a little while later saying it was gone.. .I was confused as hell why it didn't just say "sold out" .... now I know!!!

I'll be refreshing my page all day long now.. great, I won't get anything done at home!!

Last Woot-off we had the laptop on the dinner table watching Woot.

Now that is true geekieness.

(Last Woot-off had nothing good and ended after 20 hours, usually they go at least 30 hours)

All this wait and probably for a dang pot and pan set next.

Someone buy the rest of these. You can make a fortune selling these to the Amish!!

I'm gonna take my boss has gone home for the day nap.

how can you tell how many more need to sell before it moves on to the next item? besides the yellow bar? is there anywhere that shows how many have sold and how many need to be sold in numbers?

So you basically just go to woot, and watch an item, and see if another one posts afterwords? Dang thats kinda hit or miss.

nope that's what makes it so exciting, you never know if they're gonna have 2000 or 20. On regular woots they don't even have the bar...

not really, we know off the bat it's a woot off because of the yellow siren thingies and the yellow bar, on usual days that isn't there and when the item ends that's it till the next night.

I've been wooting for over a year now and never heard about the "secret" deal. Is there a new item everyday there as well?

No, It seems that woot has a steady supply of those TV's and so they set up that page for people to access when they want to purchase the TV rather than wait for the next woot. Probably saves them from having to put the TV up as a woot 2x a week to try to clear out their stock. I think just to screw with everyone, they should put one of those TVs randomly in someones Bag o' Crap

that would be hilarious, that would make someone's day and they would tell everyone to go to woot.com, good publicity..

I've looked at woot for a while, but not enough to have noticed the bar or lights, but for now on will use those as a dead giveaway. I just didnt know if there was a woot-off-warning or a pre-woot-off-notification that went out. But since i freequent daily now, i guess i can find out the way the rest do. Do they normally start post 12 a.m., or can it be any time those krazy kids decide to do it.

I was hanging at the forums and "Bride of Chucky" kept appearing on some of the posts. What does it refer to?

Bride of Chucky= BOC= Bag of Crap

Bag of Crap is just random stuff they throw into a box, it's 1 dollar plus 5 shipping, and it's generally always valued at more than that. It always sells out, very very fast. And it's always best to purchace 3 @ a total of 8 bucks.

About 3 Bag-of-Craps ago, they did send out a 61" tv to a guy. Note in the bag said "third item too big to fit in bag"

dang this sux, i leave work in an hour, this would have been perfect for rush hour, and "quality time" with the ole' lady

He is really good with yellow bars.

Someone posted a script they wrote earlier in the thread that shows the % on the bar.

actually the script just checks the width percentage on the yellow bar and takes it from 100, leaving you with how much % is left.

For those of you using Firefox and ReloadEvery, what do you set it at? 10 seconds seems too fast, yet 30 seconds seems to slow.... what if you miss out on the Bags-O-Crap?

Custom? 15-20 seconds?

1200 bags of crap in 46 seconds, unbelieveable. new one coming up, hope its better than the crap now.

the woot off song is great

People probably think that the next woot will be up any minute. But the way sales are right now, it will probably be another 15-20.
