I signed up when it first accepted emails in September and they finally hooked me up with an invite.

What kind of FPS do you think you were getting? 50+?

Did you try any non-FPS?
 
Sweet, I signed up for that beta back in Sept. too, hopefully I'll get an e-mail too! I've been extremely interested and skeptical in this tech.

So what is your ISP download/upload cap for reference?

I have a 10Mb down, 512Kb up cap, hopefully my upload cap won't kill it. Friggin Time Warner sucks in this area and won't offer a faster upload package.
 
Holy shit! Awesome. Did they email you before hand and tell you they were sending you a unit. I'm guessing they did.

I've been wanting to try this, I signed up early as well...
 
my isp (uc berkeley) has ridiculous bandwidth, 100mbps down/50mbps up or so.


I didn't get a "unit" so its just a software thing

Wow nice dude. ya i signed up for the beta back in June the week of E3 when they first announced it. I still haven't gotten an email. I really wanna try this out, I'm so curious. Since I too think something along these lines is the future of gaming for everyone.
 
Sounds "too good to be true" right now. Too bad for the NDA, I'm sure a lot of us would like to know more details.

Did they say anything about fees? How much will it cost? Is it per minute/game/monthly basis?
 
I know everyone is concerned about the control delays... which I think is a valid concern. But wouldn't it help since nearly everyone would have the same delay, assuming their ping / connection to the data center wasn't outrageous?

I really would like to hear more on this... down with NDAs. :)
