3782 points last 24 hours! weeee.

almost 3 weeks of production in the past 24 hours B]

Thats slow.
My two do over 5,500 PpD each.
Thats on a 9800GTX board @ 725,1950,1111 with the 177.35 drivers.

Which card and drivers are you useing ??
If its the nVidia client, have you used RivaTuner v2.09 to overclock the shaders ??

Luck ............ :D

8800GT, That would not seem too slow in comparison to the cards you are running, given the difference the difference between your 9800GTX and my 8800GT

I get around 4750PPD out of my 8800GT. But I don't do much else with that system but browsing and email.

You might check your drivers / OC and see if you can tweak a bit more out of your card. I bet you can. :D

I'm right at 5k with my 8800GT at 1780 on the shaders while also running a single SMP client. So you're probably on the low side. If you're running dual SMP's it might be lower.

I do all my gaming WoW addict, my son is home from AU and he plays the UT3, I'll see if I can tweak some more with updating drivers, but I can't have more heatload in the room, in a 9.5 X 12.5 room I have a HD PVR/ my PC and my projector, along with the home network. Lots of heat, and no AC. It is my man-room and it must remain habitable.

If you use the system that much I bet you're getting good production from your card.

It's on 7X24, I never turn off my systems - the great Lord FAH demands obedience. I placate him with offerings of cycles and he slumbers. I must not awaken him.

If your useing earlier drivers than 177.35, then update to them.
You may get a nice PpD boost for them.
And a lower cpu useage under Vista, if you run it.

Luck ............ :D

Thanks, I have some time when I get home from work - I'll D/L the latest drivers - these are from ~ January. I'm running XP and I actually need to take it out and blow the dust out, that helps it run cooler too.

My nvidia display driver sometimes crash, having me to start all over x_X. I wonder whether the client/drivers are still unstable, or my card is starting to crap out at full loads.

i would definitely reload drivers if the client is crashing. the client has not crashed on me yet. on either old drivers or new. I would however recommend reloading drivers if ou are having client crashes. Also general system maintenance can help too, make sure your hard drive isnt fragmented - if you've defragged in the past month or two you prolly wont have that problem

BTW EOC is now putting me at 4029 for the last 24 hours

Cool.
Now go suck down some beers for the weekend holiday and leave that system to fold.
You'll be amazed at the PPD when you come back.....say in December.... ;)

BTW don't forget to load an SMP client before going on your sabbatical from gaming. :D

RagingHamster has a point, in summary reformat & reinstall :p and the install the GPU2 ;)

well a major installation is long time overdue for me, and this weekend i´m getting a new HD, so i gonna do some reformat & reinstallation! Linux, WinXP and Vista. I don´t get the holiday over here :p

Mine cranked out 479 points in 2hrs 45 mins on my first WU with the GPU client.

So 2.66hrs per WU

So 24hr/day / 2.66hr per WU = 9 WU/day

9 x 479 pts per WU = 4,311 PPD WOW

Would be 100PPD more if you'd stop wasting cycles posting on [H]. ;)

J/K...thanks for the efforts. Fold on!

Um...holy shit....

That's amazing......and uh....that's all I can say about that:)

It really doesn't get to warm, i've been really lucky with my system so far and everything has seemed to overclock like mad and stay relatively cool. The only real draw back is that my computer is used by my brother also and it is shut off at night and other times during the day, and he never runs f@h, but as soon as i can convince him it should be on 24 hours a day i should be climbing the ranks a little. :)

/jawdrop Awesome, these GPU clients will one day rule the world

At 10pm July 4th, 2008. The [H]orde folding juggernaut became sentient. Folding increased at an exponential rate until all diseases were cured. There were celebrations in the street and beer and tamales for all. ;)

As long as it's the [H]orde and not Skynet :p

Alright, I finally nuked my computer, and the GPU client is as stable as can be. I'm ready to roll in the WUs :D

what´s wrong with Skynet? those nice robots don´t mean us harm

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Season 2 Premieres September 8th, 2008 ;)

Wish I had a Nvidia card for folding. Kills me that you get twice the points as a HD 3870.

Hey, wait a minute....maybe we could fold on one of those terminators... :) I got dibs on liquid metal one.
