Nice job, but don't get cocky! You're never putting out enough PPD unless all the science gets finished. Then you can relax :)

Holy shite :eek: would you listen to this, the "heavy hitters" of this great foldin' team talkin' trash about out doing each other. Talk about a battle of the "Titans", "the gorilla from Manila" (yeah, I know, a little outdated) and all that stuff. I think this is gonna' be one interesting time in the world of folding and it does my heart good to know it's helping the unfortunates. Thanks "a moon do" (or something like that :confused:)

i think i have about 74ghz at work right now and another 102ghz that i hope to get up and running this week
 
if i could borg everything it would total somewhere over 2400ghz i would guess not counting servers etc. just workstations

ooo fun, a challenge... im 53mil ahead of you so you gotta do better than that ;)

although its definately possible... when i started to ramp up a machine that did 100 PPD was impressive lol, work units were worth a LOT less then than they are now

you have 251 WU's and 382,892 points, thats about 1,525p/wu... i have 257,015 WU's and 53,421,773 points thats only about 208p/wu
 
Yeah, the whole points to WU ratio thing is so different these days, someone can come along with a bunch of 4 graphic card workstations, and blow everyone out of the water.

And it will change once again next year with Nehalem & Larrabee coming out, if PandeGroup can create some killer cores for them & their new features, once again the whole scene will change.
 
According to EOC stats, you were #1 over the past 24 hours by 4,000 PPD. You had 58k, FLECOM had 54k, and I was 3rd, but I'm trailing by 11,000 PPD over the past 24 hours. Oh well, such is life!
 
damn you florida power and light! all my borgs have been offline since late friday night/early saturday :(

Some other teams have 1-2 60k+ members so it's more than about time that we welcome a very heavy hitter with us.

While I made myself a point to stay in the top 5 in ppd, it's hard to compete with guys like you without having lots of computers at work at your disposal. While I can fold on 5-10 computers at work, it's still limited because I'm forbidden to fold on production boxes, only pre-production :(

Very true. I remember at the very beginning we had to contend with heavy hitters from other teams.

I'd try to borg at work but I'm too low on the ladder. If I made mention of the idea of Folding for a cure for cancer, I would get quizzical looks at best.

fucking FP&L keeps dropping our building like every friday afternoon right as im leaving work :mad:

i sent a PM begging NotFred to make me a diskless client that keeps retrying DHCP since i have to go around and netboot each one through a crappy linksys switch since the HP switches i use make the DHCP client in notfreds image time out
