Wooden case/case mod ideas.

Even though I have 5???(egads!) cases ahead of me to do, I'm looking for ideas for a wooden case mod.

My dad has been doing plank-on-frame ship modeling for a while now, which means I have access to plenty of tools, and thought I'd give a wooden case a try.

If any of you have any that you like, please post them.

Well, I've seen things like desk and dresser mods in the past.

And I've also seen a few wooden cases too.

I just thought it was about time I did one myself.

I saw areally nice Japanese looking one at Google-pictures and I entered "case mods".

But yeah, now that I think about it, I might make a Treasure Chest case for my dad, with an LCD in the lid. Cool!
 
The treasure chest idea is really great. You could even get your dad in on the mod!

The other upshot to the whole thing is I now know what ta do with that LCD touchscreen I got from my buddy at Canon.
