I reformatted and now I can install my video card drivers all I want, it goes through the install all the way, but after that it like... doesn't do anything, 3dmark still says my card doesn't support anything, I don't have my little nvidia thing on my systray, it's basically like they aren't installed, and no matter how many times I reinstall them, the same thing happens... Any suggestions?

Yea.... how about a little information there sport...

Motherboard
Video Card
OS...

Did you reboot after installing the drivers?

Go into the Device Manager, Display Adapter, then Drivers tab. What does it show there?

Hardware's in my Sig, I'm on XP Pro SP1, and yes I rebooted... that's like a given. Before I reformatted my video card for some reason would lock up whenever my computer idled (yet gaming for hours on end wouldn't do anything) does that have anything to do with it?

DarkMonkey has a signature click on his name to see it.

He has not elected to show it in his posts yet.

Is the 5200 not included in the .inf of the driver set you are trying to install? Sounds like the same thing that happens to laptop video cards. Which set of drivers are you trying to install? Try any other drivers?

Had the same deal happen to my X800XT/PE. Turned out the bios chip took a shit.
