how do the graphics of the download multiplayer game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory compare to Battlefield 1942?

I want to see if my lappy can take it.

also do I need the original game to play Enemy Territory?

The graphics are not that great by todays standards but Wolf ET is a great mp game that is still fun today. No you don't need the original to play it. Anything above like a 1.5 ghz with a geforce 3 should run it fine.

Wolfenstein: ET = good stuff

Graphics are probably as good as BF1942, if it really matters.

The gameplay is much more fun, IMHO.

I played ET on P4 1.7M
geforce 2 go

it rocked on my neighbor's connection

ET wants more of a better vid card than cpu

it's the quake 3 engine, so a pentium 3 500~ and geforce2 can run it at arond 40fps maybe 800x600

I played Wolfi:ET on a P3 866 w/256 megs sdram and GeForce4 MX420

..and yes it was very playable

ugly ...but very playable

The enemy's weakened!

I just got back into playing ET... missed how damn fun this game was, just gotta get on a good server. I suggest the ACI 20 map server if you can find it.
