Wolfdale compatible with a Conroe MOBO?

I'm thinking of upgrading to Conroe very soon. My question is, will I be able to use the upcoming 45nm processors on a Conroe mobo (like the bad axe 2)?
 
from wat i heard is that P975 chipset or above and 680i or newer will be able to support 45nm processor by flashin mobo bios...

correct me if i am wrong bout this...
