I know that wntipconfig doesn't come native in XP Pro but I saw one of the computers in the IT department have it. My boss told me all I had to check out the ip settings was type wntipcfg in the Run box or the cmd line. I tried it out and I thought it was nifty, being similar to winipconfig that i've used. I downloaded it off microsoft's website and installed it, but the only way I can get it to run is if I browse for the executable in the run box. How do I change so that I can just type wntipcfg in the run box or cmd line like that other computer I've seen?

first off i like ipconfig alot better than winipcfg....but whatever floats your boat i guess. it sounds like a path issue. copy the exe to the system32 dir. that shoulkd allow you to lauch it from the run command.
