WMP54G Capped??

Hey, on my wired connection i get about 11mb down and 350 up. But with this new wireless card that i got my down is always around 2500k. Im using a di-524 rev. A router and when i had my dlink wireless card my net hauled ass... Any other way to get my performance back?
 
Ok, i figured out that alll my wireless stuff can only run at that speed. Got the latest firmware for my di-524 rev A and still nothing, tried the older ones, nothing :S I am also getting a dropped packet from my wan which makes online gaming just piss me off.
 
Are you running encryption? WEP will bog things down...WPA has less overhead..so won't bog you down as much.

If you're running a different brand wireless card..make sure you turn off the DLink equivelant of turbo mode..I forget what it's called on that model..but it's a wireless mode...make sure it's on standard G only. If you have it set for turbo or whatever proprietary speed boost they have..with a non DLink NIC on the other end..performace will suffer.
 
There isnt a turbo, this isnt the speedbooster or anything. But also on the lappy its capped at around 2500k... Im not running any encryption, just hiding the SSID, im not too worried. But heres whats in the most recent logs...
