WMP10 quit full screen mode near the end of a video

using winxp sp2 and wmp10, whenever i play a video in wmp10 in fullscreen mode, the player will automatically switch back to full mode and minimised, so it is out of full screen mode when there is around 15 seconds left of the video.

is there a way to fix this?

i know i should be using other players, and i do (VLC & MPC) but i just like wmp10, but mainly its jsut bugging me since i have no idea what is going on.

any ideas? thanks
