WMP10 auto exits full screen

Has anybody ever encountered a problem with Windows Media Player 10 where it automatically exits full screen after watching a video for 5 minutes? If so, is there a way to fix it? I'm running wmp on a Dell E1505 with an ATI X1300 and Omega Drivers. The problem occurred even before I changed drivers. I tried a search but did not find anything useful. Thanks for any help
