so i want to use media center, which runs through windows media player. but the sound quality is absolutly terrible. its full of static, some songs make my ears bleed.

i know its not the drivers because if i play the same song on winamp, or j. river media center. it sounds 1000x better. ive tried reinatalling wmp but nothing works. ive reinstalled my drivers too and thats no help.

i have an audigy 2 running digital out. but analog out sounds like shit too.


anyone know why wmp sucks?
