Have anyone else have encountered this issue before; trying to connect via wireless network would cause a message "Windows Explorer is restarting" when just moving the mouse cursor over the wireless icon.

Stopping wlan autoconfig stops this issue, but then it means that system does not have any connection via wireless.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Why don't you just manually set the wireless connection settings?

Have tried that, sorry for not mentioning it in the first place. It doesn't work, the same issue when I tried to connect it wirelessly, that's why I'm pulling my hair out and running around for answers.

Never mind, got it resolved after I remembered something from the days of WinXP; I copied all the .dll files that is related to wireless from a working computer and paste them into the faulty one. Once that is done, the issue did not appear anymore.
