the mature content is gonna be highly cut from the sounds of recent pcgamer previews..
Well I hope the European version is uncensored, like last time.

They are cutting boobs if anything at all not maturity of storyline and choices.
Good for CD Projekt. I hope this game captures and excels on all the amazing things that made TW1 one of the best games I've ever played.
It's pretty cool to see them using GoG to distribute this but I think I may have to go with Steam for ease of use. I like that they're standing their ground and not hurting those of us who will pay for the game but also taking the added measure in punishing the pirates.
To whoever commented on this "hurting innocent customers" that's the furthest thing from the truth in this case. If the game is available DRM-free from GoG there should be no reason one would even want to "legally" torrent the game. If you have poor connection go buy it retail as I'm sure it will be there.
I honestly have no idea how anyone could come up with this as a legitimate response to the original poster/post.
8.What content do I get once I've purchased the game when it comes out?
You'll receive one of five classic RPGs to choose from: Gothic 2 Gold, Realms of Arkania 1 + 2, Realms of Arkania 3, Divine Divinity, and Beyond Divinity, the manual (unsurprisingly), a 200 pages digital artbook, the full in-game soundtrack, papercraft figures, guide, maps, letters, trailers, developer diaries, gameplay footage, interviews and "making of" exclusive video.
Because the OP implies that he pirates games by telling us its a bad news that the developers will sue people who pirate games.
How else are we supposed to take that response?
No boobs, I've never really got why the United States censors are so concerned by nudity.
Of course extreme graphical violence is fine and acceptable!
I can only suggest that you go back to my original post and carefully look for the word "innocents". You may need to read more than two sentences to get there - a problem which appears to afflict many in this thread.
GOG is a helluva a lot easier to use than Steam. Remember GOG is CDProjekt.
And I wonder what they plan on doing to the other countless individuals that illegaly obtain the game through a identity free medium...ie Usenet.
or private trackers, or private FTP servers. its a scare tactic thats it. they will go after all the little kiddies using public torrent index's like isohunt, demonoid and TPB. which has been going on for years.
I would have pre-ordered the game on Steam if:
A) It had no or non-intrusive DRM.
2) It had been guaranteed to be the full Adult version, not censored like the US release last time.
These concerns = no sale.

censor in us version of witcher 1 removed nudity and what else?
do you serious care about pixel nudity......
I was getting ready to buy The Witcher 2 direct from GoG when I heard they were going to sell it without DRM, but this tactic caused me to reconsider, thinking carefully if I want to buy. If you're going to pay an underhanded slimeball of a corporation to basically spy on people and attempt to entrap users (There is a long history of these "protection" services uploading bad data, adding the name of the content their employer owns to OTHER files in order to drum up more "confirmed" hits, and a lot more...) then I really don't want to give you my money.
Of much greater concern to me is the apparent lack of a walk feature - again.
When are developers going to learn. This is supposed to be an RPG, meaning that many gamers are going to want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the world - difficult to do when you can't walk down the street like a normal person, or if you have to run through a house when you're indoors.
It's things like the lack of a walk feature, or zero customization, that are going to turn me off - or paying for an unfinished game, as I did on day one with the original game.
it's not that hard to go to a friends house with your system, or take a USB drive to get the neccessary files.
nothing says they have to be on YOUR computer.
you can validate your copy and download the files from any computer.
I would rather not play any game that is censored in any way. Pixel nudity...if I wanted to look at boobs I'd just fire up images.google.com. I could also just feel up my fiance pretty much whenever the hell I want.
